Can a Diabetic Patient go for Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery?

I am very obese and also a diabetic patient. I am facing various problems due to obesity and secondly I really feel very embarrassed due to my stout look. I have searched on internet about any effective solution to get rid of obesity. And there I get an idea about Bariatric weight loss surgery.

I do not have more information about this surgery. So I want to know from you, is this surgery really works? Can a diabetic patient go for this surgery? Also tell me is there any specific condition which must be met for having this surgery.

lydia 		I must tell you that Bariatric weight loss surgery is one of the best and effective surgeries which can lose 70% of your weight easily and hence provides slim body. Now coming to your question; yes a diabetic patient can easily go with this surgery. This surgery is safe for the diabetic person and the best thing is that this surgery can also control your blood sugar if you are a diabetic.

Yes, there are few conditions which must be met, only then you will be eligible for this surgery. Your weight must be more than 100 pounds, or the BMI (Body Mass Index) should not be less than 40. After having this surgery you will have to change your food habits, i.e. you will have to consume only liquid food items for few weeks.

If your age is also more than 100 pounds and you are willing to get a slim figure then just go for Bariatric weight loss surgery.
