my lips get very dry. Want a solution ?

I like to get shiny lips always. My friends always give me complements about my sexy lips. But, from few months, I am suffering from dryness on my lips. I used various types of lip stick. However, I am getting unsatisfied from these products. Someone has advised me that I have to use lip gloss that will make my lips plumper. Is this true? Give me the advice about lips treatment.
